Good evening all this is probably my first blog, and first of many i hope on here that i have writen not involving some sort of task. But i thiught i may as well start with something new in the way in which my work has been going. Ive decided to turn over a new leaf, pull my freakishly long index finger out and actually get some fucking work done for a change. im now onto getting my blogs finished off for when im back, along with finishing off bits and bobs with other projects but i thought tonight id just write one first about what ive been doing today as ive been stuck in all day with flu, and its sunday so no work pour moi.
Watched Superbad for the millionth time today and if you havent seen it i very much recomend it along with knocked up, both fresh comedy genious along with some great up coming comedy actors. Also watched I am legend today which i thought was awsome although the trailer wasnt very accurate to the film in a sence that i was completly different to what i expected. But all in all a good zombie, vampire, world is dead family film.
Played a bit more of kane and lynch also today. Got it for xmas and a few friends have told me that its an annoyingly short game, so im trying to not make the same mistake as i did with assasins creed and complete it in a day and a half so i can actually get my 40 quids worth. But the multiplayer is pretty badass on it.
So that pretty much concludes my day will follow this up with another creativity blog maybe 2night or 2moro afternoon between my immence new years eve shift at the pub(11-4 then 8-3 in the eve ) woop de 'fuckin' do so untill then ja bless rude boys and girls much love x

cre·a·tiv·i·ty

1. The state or quality of being creative

2. The ability to transcend traditional ideas, rules, patterns, relationships, or the like, and to create meaningful new ideas, forms, methods, interpretations, etc.; originality, progressiveness, or imagination: the need for creativity in modern industry; creativity in the performing arts.

3. The process by which one utilizes creative ability: Extensive reading stimulated his creativity.

These 3 points above are the oxford English dictionary’s explanation of the term creativity.

The word creativity can be used to describe numerous different things. Just researching for this blog I have come across well over 50 different descriptions and variations. Being creative can be used to describe almost anything that is being done by someone to produce an outcome. For example the more obvious forms of creativity are that of an artist producing an original sculpture or painting, or an author writing a poem or a story, but there are many subtle less obvious forms that need a bit more time to consider the creativity involved. A maid cleaning a house for example, are they not being creative and expressing there talents to produce a desired outcome?

Whilst studying for this I came across a very interesting quote from a published writing on creativity.

Creativity involves the translation of our unique gifts, talents and vision into an external reality that is new and useful.”

Although this is a broad statement I think this pretty much sums up what I feel creativity is as a definition and I will explore this in greater detail in my next blogs.
